Life saving is limited without you! One person can make a difference. Please volunteer today.
Volunteers play a critical role in how far we can go to save lives. All aspects of our sheltering operation require people. Our staff provide services that are required by state and local law. Public health and safety concerns and basic care of the animals in our charge take priority over all other activity. We rely heavily on volunteers to help us help animals through adoptions, enrichment, fostering, special promotions, events, fundraisers, and some administrative duties.
If you are interested in volunteering, the first step is to complete our online orientation to become familiar with our daily routine and general operations. Register here. You must be 18 years old. Our Paw Pals program is a summer volunteer opportunity for teens 13 to 17.
Once you complete orientation, you will be able to schedule a shelter tour. We will also provide you with a basic animal handling course online prior to your tour.
